How to pay

You can pay fees by:

  • credit card or direct credit if you are applying online
  • direct credit if you are applying by post
  • cash at the nearest Authority office.

Contact us

To pay by direct credit, contact us for our bank account number. Include a copy of your bank statement or a screenshot from internet banking with your application.

Please note:

  • EFTPOS is not available in Authority offices
  • cash cannot be sent by post.

Application fees

You must pay your application fee when you lodge your application.

The application fee:

  • cannot be waived – everyone has to pay it
  • is not refundable if you change your mind or withdraw your application.

Investigation meeting fees

The applicant pays the cost of the meeting fees. Most investigation meetings take one day or less.

Awarding and paying costs

If your case is successful, you are entitled to claim for the cost of any professional representation and for any reasonable expenses you incurred.

Who must pay costs and how much they must pay is determined by the Authority member.
